I successfully passed my test first time round on 27th October 2011 in Tallaght! After a bad experience in my early 20's, followed by a car accident 2 years ago I had been very nervous about learning to drive but I bit the bullet earlier this year and started lessons with Kevin from National Driving School. As I didn't have access to a car to be able to practice it meant all of my driving time was during mylessons. Even without the access to a vehicle to practice Kevin ensured I progressed with each lesson - he very quickly pin pointed the areas where I had little confidence and very cleverly built my confidence without my realising he was doing it! He helped to keep me motivated and focussed on the objective of passing the test. It is evident from the first meeting with Kevin that he is a goal oriented instructor and very obviously knows exactly the skills and driving behaviour needed to, not only obtain your full licence, but also beyond that - quite simply to be a successful and safe driver. I would absolutely recommend Kevin from National Driving School as driving instructor of choice.
I PASSED!!! I'm so delighted and it was my first attempt! Kevin is a brilliant instructor and I have been recommending him to all of my family and friends. As i am leaving the country shortly and will need a full licence, I called National and got a cancellation test. All last minute of course, so with three days to go I started lessons with Kevin. I didn't think I had a hope of passing as this was my first time to do it. I also had so many bad habits being a self taught driver who has been driving for the last 5 years and as Kevin said himself a clutchaholic!! After 5 years of driving incorrectly Kevin helped me make the changes necessary to pass the test in a matter of hours. I also took the pretest and hired Kevin's car on the day of the test, which I would really recommend as it does calm the nerves! I couldn't recommend Kevin's service highly enough and I definately wouldn't of passed without him. So again, thank you very much Kevin!
I passed my driving test in Tallaght on Tuesday, June 28th and it's all thanks to Kevin. I've been driving for over two years but not very competently and definitely not in the manner that would allow me pass my driving test. After 10 minutes of meeting Kevin, he knew immediately what I was doing wrong and the areas I had to focus on for the test. He was very relaxed, straight-talking and worked with me over the week to improve on my many weaknesses and he still managed to instill confidence in me that I could pass the test. Kevin's approach is exactly what you need to pass your test - he's very practical and pragmatic and got me to approach the test like an exam, as there are set things you will have to do. Kevin got me to work on those and to start driving like an instructor would expect me to, safely and with progress. Kevin brought me to most common areas for your driving test route so when I went on the test, it was all very familiar to me and I remembered the various junctions, roads, situations that I needed to be aware of. He also was a great help with the questions and road signs, focusing on the most likely to be asked. If you're learning how to drive or applying for your test, the smartest move you can make is to book Kevin now for your lessons. It's a great investment as the lesson's are keenly priced and going with Kevin you're saving yourself time and money by not having to re-apply for the test.

I have just passed my driving test after failing five times with a well known school of driving. This time I went with Kevin from the national driving school (the pre test package) and I can't rate him highly enough. He was able to identify all the bad habits I picked up from my previous instructors and had me driving confidently and smoothly. The pre test helped me manage the stress of the test and with only 5 blue marks even the instructor said it was "a solid pass". Thanks again Kevin, I'll be recommending your school to my friends. I had already taken my test twice before and had failed. I had two pre tests with Kevin and took my test on the 8th Feb and passed with flying colours. I would certainly recommend to any of my friends and others taking the test.
I passed my driving test on 8th February and I have to say that my three lessons and pre test with Kevin really helped. The lessons improved my confidence and I actually felt like I had a real chance at passing my test. I would recommend National Driving School to anyone looking for a good driving instuctor.
I passed my driving test today thanks to the National Driving School. It was my first attempt and there's no way I could have done it without having had all of my lessons and pre-tests with them. I had never driven until I started lessons with them and was very nervous to begin with, but they made me feel so relaxed and gave me such confidence that I was driving by myself in under 10 lessons. A year later when it was time for my test I had no hesitation in booking my pre-test with them. Naturally, I had picked up one or two bad habits but with their expertise they quickly helped me to correct them. They were very thorough in preparing me for all aspects of the test, not just the driving. The questions we went over were the exact ones the tester asked me and being so well prepared helped to calm my nerves. I really wouldn't have passed without them. I have already recommended them to two people and would happily recommend them to anyone else.
My first language is not english and Kevin was very patient and easy to understand. He gave me very useful advice and without his help, i surely wouldnt have passed my test. He advised me of how many lessons i would need and he had every faith im me that i was ready and would pass. I would most definitely recommend him to anyone who is in need of a excellent instructor. I had my Ukrainian Driving license, couldn't just change it for an Irish one, as Ukraine is not part of EU. Had to pass driving test again. I was very nervous to do it, just didn't like to be tested. I was experienced driver, had my own bad driving habits. I was glad i had the best instructor - Kevin, who helped me to polish off my driving skills and showed what i needed to pass my driving test. The web-site helped a lot, where you can read all the questions you might be asked and you can see exactly what you have to show at your test. And i did it with confidence and passed! Got my driving license in post yesterday - best Christmas present i was waiting for 7 years!
Being in my mid thirties I was quite late in starting to drive, and what I had done I was basically self taught with a few sporadic lessons. I had picked up every bad habit that is out there. Kevin was highly recommended to me by people in similar situations. He started by actually explaining what driving is all about. He tailored his teaching to suit me and explained what I was doing and why I was doing it. As the lessons went on he crafted each to work on parts I was weak on, which was, well, everything! The key for me was that I practiced after each lesson on the topics we covered and it made a hugh difference. So before the test on the 1st of November in Tallaght, we did a few mock tests which were really helpful and really prepared me, as the areas I was weak on were then pointed out. Kevin is a fantastic instructor, and the best with doubt I have used, and low and behold I passed on my first go, all thanks to him!
I passed my test a week ago in Tallaght thanks to Kevin and his ability to show how to approach the driving test in the right way. I knew how to drive before, but just in 3 hours Kevin was able to teach me things required to pass the test without any issues. His tips are very valuable to someone going for the test first time. I would recommend his services to anyone wishing to pass a test.

I had a week to prepare for my first driving test and had half accepted i wouldnt pass, i got my first lesson and Kevin assured me it was easily possible for me to pass first time. Kevin got straight to the point and knew exactly what was expected from me. Through a few lessons zoned in on what i needed to work on i confidently took my test and passed on sep 25th:) thanks to Kevins pateince and his attitude while instructing. Having read great reviews, I had no hesitation in booking 10 hours as a total beginner. Kevin’s patience and positive attitude allowed me to progress with confidence which I had lacked on the road. Hello Hello My name is Ilana, and I just passed my test on the 22nd of Sep 2010, and I am SO SO SO SO HAPPY :D It was my third test, so its Third time lucky.. well not really lucky but actually the help from KEVIN was the reason that I passed !!!!!!! I lack confidence, and I had a few driving instructors previously but none of them helped me as Kevin did. He saw my problem straight away,which was not enough observation and lack of confidence and helped me with that! Hello everyone! This is happy Tom from Poland who passed the exam on 25th of August 2010 in Tallaght. I passed this exam only THANKS TO KEVIN - the best driving instructor I have ever met. When I came for the first lesson I told Kevin how stressfull and totally unenjoyable driving for me was and that I would never be a driver. After the very first lesson I knew, this man was gonna change it! With great patience and positive atitude a few lessons with Kevin helpded me gain self confidence in the car. He gave me so many fantastic pieces of advice which I employed not only during the exam but they also in everyday driving. Passing driving test didn't improve my skills but it gave me peace of mind. Two days after the exam me and my friends began went for the 8-day road trip around Ireland. All together I drove without any problems about 1500 km. Once again I want to stress that it was Kevin who made me a driver. Thanks a million Kevin!!!

I passed my test on the 16th of June in Tallaght. I had failed it twice before that once in Carlow and the second time in Kilkenny. I did six lessons with Kevin. He is the best instructor I know. He makes things like reversing around the corner so simple and has great patience. I would highly recommend Kevin to anyone who want's to pass there test. He's a LEGEND!!!!
I passed my driving test last Monday, 28th June, thanks to Kevin. It was my 6th test, having failed 3 of them by mounting the kerb on my reverse around the corner! I had taken plenty of lessons with other instructors but never seemed to be able to nail the manoeuvre. Kevin showed me how to reverse around the corner properly on our first lesson and then just polished up the rest of my driving with a very test focused approach. His advice is very practical and relevant to what the tester is looking for, and he helped to calm my nerves no end. I would highly recommend Kevin and the National Driving School to anyone looking to pass their driving test with a minimal amount of stress. Kellie ;)
Just passed my test today thanks to kevin. Failed my first test a few years ago and was scared doing it again but kevin put me at ease straight away and in less than a week has completely changed my standard of driving. I have passed my driving test on 19th May and I am absolutely delighted :). It was my first attempt and I felt very nervous. Passed my test last Thursday 20th May absolutely delighted - only driving four months so took some lessons with Kevin and did a pretest - he was exactly right in all his advice and told me exactly where my mistakes were - am only 18 and was my first time to take the test so am over the moon.
